I don't agree with you since the hard statements is what you can "adjust" with choosing the less strong "agree", if we take this for example:
what's good for the most successful corporations is always, ultimately, good for all of us
that is what you believe if you are libertarian, you cannot weaken the statements because then they become less radical.
