Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft announces Halo Fest, new game reveal at August PAX blow-out?

Eurogamer

Microsoft will mark Halo's 10th anniversary with Halo Fest, a three day event taking place during the annual Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle this August.

Billed as "the largest and most expansive live Halo experience ever" over on Halo Waypoint, you can expect tournaments, exclusive panels and prizes.

Could it also see a new Halo title announced? Perhaps that rumoured remake of Combat Evolved?

"See why the last ten years of Halo were just the beginning," notes the Waypoint post.

PAX takes place between 26th and 28th August at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. Entrance to Halo Fest is included with a PAX prime badge.

Hopefully we finally get some confirmation on the Halo CE remake. Something on Halo 4 would also be nice.

I think it will get announced at E3 still.

Think August is a little late for a November release.

Announce Halo:CE remake at E3.

Unveil Halo 4 at Pax in August.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Reach is the best so far

Cemake at E3, and playable at PAX in August, released 3 months later Tuesday November 15th, exactly 10 years to the day Halo CE came out.

I know this has nothing to do with Halo Fest, but I saw someone with flaming feet in Halo Reach??? Is that a new armor ability or something?

Yay I'm going to be at PAX, can't wait to check Halo Fest out. Hopefully their will be an after party to go too. I love those after parties! But then again if Halo Fest is going on I'm going to miss out on other PAX events thats alittle downer. I will obviously not be able to stay for all of Halo Fest I will want to check out Nintendo and Sega's booths and of course all the other new announcements.
