I'm 99.9% certain I saw on FoxNews this morning that Usama bin Laden was killed.

Edit...hold up, is Usama another name of his or something?

It's an alternate spelling, yes.

I don't understand why Fox News can't just call him Osama like everybody else does.  Even on the main page of their website, it says Usama.

My guess is... so that if there is a typo it's Ubama bin Ladin.

I suppose that's better than them saying Obama like some stations have :D

Fox News makes up their own facts, so it doesn't suprise me.

Don't hate on fox news.  I was just wondering, and kasz came up with a good reason.  Other news stations report false stuff all the time too, it isn't just them.

LOL, do you have the capacity for thought?  Though I guess if you aren't going to think critically about events around you, it would be easier to be told what to think.

I sometimes watch FoxNews, and the two biggest lies I can recall are the healthcare debate, when they said that there would be death panels to let old people die then they claimed they never said such a thing, and the labor strikes in Wisconsin, when they showed unrelated videos of people fighting in Florida.

- Couldn't quickly find anything about the death panels on youtube.

You do realize that there will be death panels , right? There is absolutley no way around it, it was even in the bill before  it was cut out, and Obama is poised to use executive order to place them back in. And as for the unrelated video, are you sure it wasn't related to the story? If you would actually watch the news instead of youtube clips that have been spun by liberal morons, perhaps you would learn a thing or two. Anyway, I would like a link to the video where Fox news, as an organization, claims they never said there would be death panels, otherwise, honestly, I can't believe your tin foil covered head. ; )

To get back on topic, Fox News has made this mistake many times before, mostly during the presidential election.  I wouldn't be suprised, and actually expect, them to sink to whatever method to increase support they can since the economic policies they support failed and the defense policies they support failed.

If the only thing you can do is call names, then you might as well use it.  You see it on the playground all the time...

Erm, when did the thread stray from the topic? Fox isn't the only network that has made mistakes, my question is, were the mistakes real, or were they just spun as mistakes by liberals who hate fox? Who were these alleged mistakes made by? Commentators, or news anchors? Because it it was the former of the two, then your point is utterly, and completely moot. Anyway, where is the link I requested? Really, I am interested, if they did claim that they never said there would be death panels, I want to know allegidly said there would be, and who claims it was never said. I would venture a guess that if one knows that info, one will find the network, and it's newcasting devision, was not in conflict with itself, but rather the commentators devision. Seriously, hate the commentators all you want, but it's stupid to hate the newscasting segment unless you actually know what you are talking about, and at this point, you clearly do not.
