Have they said how he was killed? Black ops on our part, the Pakistanis finally owning up, or some sort of independent source?

Spec ops team, per Obama's speech.

In Pakistan's very capital, though. Could certainly rise some ire

Why? Pakistan sits on US allowance, military support and such. I don't think they could possibly lift an objection on the operation.

OP: It is Rampage weekend, isn't it? First Kadaffi's SOB, now Laden. Now just kill Kadaffi himself and Ahmadinejad (even though he's beeing impeached by Iran's parliament we can't forget about that bastard, too). Eventually, all the bloody dictators and terrorists will feel justice around their necks. America, Fuck Yeah!

Unfortunately, I don´t think his death will change anything, another one will take his place, and maybe his death will only motivate his followers even more.

The first thing I saw about this on the BBC news website was a photo of Americans burning an effigy of Osama Bin Laden and I thought "Are we really that different afterall?". No, but from our perspective this is fantastic news.

What was the last time Arabs killed a Western terrorist that had killed thousands of them?

I'm just not sure what comparison you could be making there...

Well depends on how you see things but hundreds of thousands of Arabs or even over a million have been killed directly or indirectly precisely because of Western sanctions or military actions and their aftermath. So if it's revenge your after well you've had it many times over post 9/11 (but most of the 'Arab' deaths I'm talking about were pre 9/11).

The death of Bin Laden will be a cause for celebration for not just Americans but people the world over though I wonder if the Special Forces were told to bring him in alive so they could parade him and try him in court. Now that would've been an interesting one to follow.

Edit:- Don't forget this isn't just an Arab terrorist that was killed. But a Muslim one too. That's more of a significance than his race and nationality since he stated he was  committing his terrorist acts as a Muslim not as an Arab.

You read too much into my post. Read it again and you'll see that I don't disagree with what you're saying... not entirely at least.

Not a big deal to me.   He never even admitted to the attacks.  That is akward for me.  Someone pulls a big thing like 9/11 yet they never admit they did it.  You would think he would have jumped all over it.  The USA goverment then dedicated itself to a never ending war "war on terrorism".  I am getting pretty fed up with shit here.  I will probably move to a better country eventually.  I was thinking Canada...  Least they don't start bullshit wars.
