I made it on purpose. I always thought that a fundamentalist imam twisting the precepts up to persuade his disciples that a pig can be made halal would give me quite a lot of lulz.    BTW I knew some Northern African muslims (not fundamentalists) that eat pig and some that admitted that in periods of shortage of food in poor villages they ate pig too. And a large part of muslim immigrants in my town drink alcohol.

You clearly havn't listened to the news at all. The facts are there, and soon, the pictures. Tell me, in what crazy world would they lie about Osama's death? How would that benefit them at all? If you have a theory, please, I would like to hear it. At any rate, the fact that you couldn't give me a straight answer for the 9/11 question I poised, tells me you are truely a conspiricy theory junkie. You realize that the Wiki leaks documents have proof the the US government had nothing to do with 9/11 right? Also, there is not one single theory supporting the beliefe that the US government was involved in 9/11, that makes complete sense.

Indeed, I know a few who drink alcohol. I also know a couple who eat non-halal chicken, etc... but still refuse to eat pork. Funny how different people follow the rules differently.

While those that do it can be relatively in large number in my town (*), I know too that stretching the rules up to admitting pig is considered quite bad by most Muslims, not necessarily fundamentalists, in many countries. Anyway, like the same rule for Hebrews, it was born for hygienic reasons tied to the life in desertic or semidesertic environments, the most educated know it. While the rules against alcohol were born due to the negative effects of its abuse on society, that were quite amplified in countries where the basic, and almost sole, outside of towns, units of society were families, clans and tribes, the feuds between which were one of the biggest worries for Mohammed in his effort to unify the Arab people.

(*) I suspect that the fact that Italian sausages and cured pig meats are amongst the best in the world plays a not small role in persuading many immigrants.

even releasing the photo wouldnt convince people otherwise.  i mean most of these people are probably ones that think that 9/11 is a government op and that osama and alqaeda are CIA props.   so showing a fake photo of a CIA agent is hardly going to convince them of anything. 

regardless of that, i believe the photo should be released.  people will do as they do and think as they think regardless of whether the photo is there or not.  this is not a secret, it is not shameful, and it should not be hidden.

I wonder.  The "9/11 was an inside job" people tend to be the extreme left.

I'd expect the "Osama's death is faked" people to be extreme right.

I guess they could be Lyndon Larouche type supporters.

just for the sake of opposing obama?   because i would would say that beleiving the entire thing is sham is a good start to believing the death is a just another sham, fed to all the stupid sheeples who believed all the other government BS  so they can bolster sagging support for the war for oil on terror
