All I can say is that fanatics will be fanatics. Anyway would I switch from the PS3 to an Xbox 360? If I had just PS3 that would be stupid and if I had just an Xbox 360 the switch would be stupid too. Neither really offers enough USP to really justify owning a 2nd for anyone who fits within the normal distribution of console owners.

One thing is clear...

The PS3 community doesnt really care that much about online play.

If this were Xbox live down, it would be like the Zombie apocolypse.

We need to find out about people with both systems, if they have changed their attitudes and now prefer one over the other because of this.

Nope. I mostly play single player games and when i play multi it's usually on pc.

Nah.  I still feel the same about my PS3.  Best darn porn viewer in the house and Netflix still works fine.  My PS3 is just for exclusives (I'm probably gonna sell my copy of Killzone 3, though.) and Blu Rays. My 360 is for online and multi-plats.  The PSN being down hasn't effected my habits in the least.  The only thing I miss is downloading trailers for upcoming games.  I'm still happy with the "Tres".

I thought of gifting myself an xbox for easter, but then I looked into my glass ball and all I saw was kinect games, which changed my mind -.-

I might buy one for christmas/sep(if E3 shows some good exclusives)Tho, I think I'm going to be broke as there is alot of exclusives for PS3 and I have to buy a new PC to run Skyrim & BF3 :)

I have to admit tho, I am getting tired of PSN being down, only for the fact that I can't DL my DA2/ME2 bonus items :(.. Oh, and I miss my daily fix of killzone.

no whats the point, 90% of the games i look forward to are ps3 exclusives and their gonna announce starhawk and maybe the getaway at e3. and probably we finally hear something on the agent.

micrsoft will probably announce some stuff for kinect and the usual forza, halo, gears. i have no interest in halo but i wouldnt mind forza and gears but their not something i go and buy another system, accessories and XBL for. id rather put the money towards more ps3 games.

Well... I have a 360 and a PS3... and I was thinking about selling one to buy a DS.

I'd still sell my 360 first.

I mean, even if I got rid of my PS3... Sony still has my info... so if they lost everyones info again, i'm still fucked.

So i mean, whats the difference at this point?

I've been thinking about switching for 6 years now, but besides Gears, there's nothing on the 360 that I  really want badly. 

I would imagine most of the people in that poll were more mainstream or really hardcore online people....people on this website do not fit into those categories at all lol so IF 21% of PS3 only users were really making the jump (which I don't believe will really happen..I doubt it will even be 1%) then it won't be people on this website.
