AFAIK this is Arabic, incorrectly written from left to read, and translated to English it reads "Altair, son of no one". At least that's what I read elsewhere, and the text is the same we heard yesterday.
I also heard some speculation what 'son of no one' meant here: God or Adam, as no other being could possibly be male and have no father. Well, actually we can't know God's gender either (assuming there is one) so Adam seems pretty likely. What that has to do with anything, I'm not sure. I guess we'll learn about it. (Again, not fully my speculation but makes sense to me.)

Also, after Brotherhood I'm feeling cautious on this one. While a good game brotherhood to me felt like exactly the same franchise filler as ODST or even Reach and I'm not into that at all. I want a new time frame, a new assassin, and a true continutation of the core story or I ain't buying. |
