Forums - Sony - If there's one thing the whole Collaps3 fiasco has taught me it's-

There's a chance that I might be a Sony fanboy or at least come REALLY close to being one. I'm annoyed by psn being down but not at Sony, instead I'm annoyed at the people who just wouldn't leave things alone.

When PSN comes back up, I won't abandon Sony and switch to Microsoft or whatever, even with the possibility that my details might be in the hand of some random. My loyalties are still with Sony...this for me is a little weird in my opinion, I honestly don't blame people for jumping ship but for whatever reason, I'm not gonna move from my seat. Sure I'll make sure to NEVER use my card details on anything PSN related or in fact any of my real details but I will keep my psn name and undoubtably pick up an NGP as well as a PS4 (lulz)

anyone else not jumping the (not so) good ship Sony?

Oh, I'm pretty fucking annoyed with Sony, but when I know I'm not going to turn my nose up at Uncharted 3 or Last Guardian or Yakuza: Of The End (if Sega does the right thing) when they release, what's even the point of pretending I'm going to step out on them now? Besides, owning a Sony console means knowing you're going to have to deal with Sony's fuck ups at some point. I knew what I was getting into when I bought this thing, more or less.

Well said! Could not have said it better myself.

the truth is no-one is switching boat.

people like to cry about it, maybe because their angry and thats totally justified but when it comes back online and they get their freebie (whatever it may be) things will be back to normal.

and those financial reports are a joke. they will not be fined that crazy amount of money and when ps3 gets a price drop and NGP kicks 3ds's ass, shares will go higher than they were before the psn attack. if i knew how to buy shares, i would buy them now.

as I see it some people make these threads cuz they don't have anything worth talking about in their own fave console forums...not when it comes to sales..or games..kinda sad really

anywho yeah PSN will back up on and I think everyone would have started to move on within a week or so..then E3 will come and NGP goodness and gaming goodness from sony...and BAM!

the chance of PSN being hack twice are pretty slim, so I don't get why would you stop using your credit card on it

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Well i just got motorstorm apocalypse and im eagerto try it online. Abandon ship? -no way.

Sony established through the years its gaming community. What happened with PSN, sure is bad, but judging a whole company from this, isnt fair. Ppl seem to lose the actual point here: Its the hackers that are to be punished. Sony, PSN/Users are the victims here. Sure media other than informing, sometimes can be misleading and exaggerate. So in 10 days all will be ok, ppl will still be playing online all the quality games and features the PSN has to offer.

Support gaming, not hackers! /peace out

Definitely not jumping ship.  Sony just has too much to offer to turn away now.  Besides, to act like this is completely Sony's fault or that this will spell the end of Sony (only in a fanboy's dream) or that Sony will have to pay some ridiculous sum of money because of this (24 billion?  Please, the big RROD scandal probably cost MS less than 5 billion), is just ill-informed and foolish.

Like Ajescent said eariler i too might also be a sony fanboy. I own a PS3, PSP, Bravia NX810, a cybershot and a sony hometheater surrond sound system. That being said i have always been a huge supporter of the playstation brand since it first launched in 1995 so i will definitely not be switching sides to M$ or any other platform not to mention that i own over 100 PS3 games.

Also I think many people are forgetting who exactlly is responsible for all this mess and that is the hackers!!.

And for that i will say what sony says all the time for there slogan.  *Make Believe*
