Forums - Gaming - Peyton Hillis wins Madden Vote!

How is it that Peyton Manning, whose broken damn near every record as a quarterback, has never been on the cover?

How is it that Tom Brady, who made the Pats a recurring dominant team in not only the AFC, but the entire NFL, not been on the cover yet?

But Peyton Hillis can have one good season, and he gets the cover? Adrian Foster did better the Hillis did, and was he even in the running?

Seriously, wtf? Madden is retarded

edit: wait, no. Madden *fans* are

Time for hype

Too bad he's about to have the worst season of his life, if NFL even has a season this year.

Was really hoping Vick would win, oh well, at least Cleveland can be the winner of something this year. What really through me off was when Aaron Rogers got beat, I thoiught he was a shoe-in. Plus it would've been cool to see him doing a belt gesture on the cover.

So broken back, week two?

The marketing people at EA must be relieved it's not Vick but scratching their heads at how such a relatively unknown player won the vote and how that'll effect sales.

Not too surprised.  My relatively unknown hometown won the Kiss tour openning concert in their open voting contest beating out much bigger cities all over NA.   A lot of hardcore fans getting the entire city involved is what it took so congrats to Cleveland for really coming together on this.

From what I understand, the vote's not actually binding on EA.

They'll look like turds if they had so many people vote and then ignore it.    If they opted out of Vick, people would probably understand, but opting out of Hillis is just going to look like corporate greed and a smack to the face of fans.

The fans get pissed on by the NFL and often buy the story that it's rain. This would be no different.
