If Sony got ddowns PSN when realized that data was stolen, I will be very pissed of.

Of Sony realized just now about compromissed info was stolen, I will be less Angry and will not change my actual dog´s name SONY.

I received the email around 8am this morning then I saw this thread. The funny thing is my mother called and asked me about it because she said it was on the local news. They're on the news telling people not to buy PS3's because it's a basically a hackers paradise. I can imagine the parents that are going to go into panic mode.

just check your stuff. Has there been report's of all of these shady credit card charges? The instant people found out the PSN was hacked ,people should have thought there was a chance of there info being compromised. I mean Sony's doing the best they can,but I have to admit,there PR has always kind of sucked.

I have a dummy hotmail account for psn specifficaly to avoid playstation related email floods. I went to change the password today and there was about two hundred unread emails from sony

OP: No, I have yet to receive an email. And it seems Sony was storing our passwords as plain text. This whole situation is just ridiculous.

Still no message. I have used a credit card on their service once to buy an arcade game but I don't know which credit card I used. Is there a way I can look that info up so I know WHICH card may be compromised?

The situation is so horrible that I find it hilarious..

But that is also because I only use PSn cards and no CC..

have to then change all my accounts that use the same username/password, THEN

after that i'll head to the courthouse and change my last name, see if i can tweak my date of birth.  i'm going to move also to a new house. 

I know an exageration, there are 70 million psn accounts most will not be affected at all.  But you are mistaken about why this is all bad.

IT IS NOT THE CC DETAILS.  It is the personal information that worries people.  The fact that some hacker has basically everything about the person except their ssn.

as i just said, the cc is not the big worry. 

whats on your psn?  username/password?  you use that anywehre else?  you online banking, paypall, amazon, ect?

your real name?  date of birth?  address?  any of that stuff you ever put into you psn account?

which considering you posted that pic you should be aware of that, since cc is last on the list
