probably should think before you write a thread next time

1.  where is your source that there are towns in ff13-2

2.  how do you know there will even be missions in the sequal

3. a.  saying ff sequels are the best is merely opinion

     b.  without a big enough fanbase for the first games, there wouldnt be any sequels (or prequel in ff7s case)

4.  a. i wouldnt really consider ff 13 versus a spinoff because regular 13, agito (type - 0), and versus all started development around the same time.

     b.  you dont know for sure yet if 13-2 is going to be released before versus.  yea sure its scheduled for this summer(i think) but we all know how quickly that can change.

     c.  just because its a spin-off doesnt mean it wont be a good game or sell well.  any game can become a huge hit.  it comes down to the consumers.

dont expect anything but hot garbage. Lol at ffx2 it was pretty bad.For the record ff8 was the best

Ahh! The FF where every character forgot they knew each other. When the story goes AWOL in an RPG, you've got a problem.

I'm really excited for XIII-2. I just really hope SE stops letting Toriyama write the story in games, he really blows.

In my opinion FF8 is absolutely the worst, maybe even worse than FF14 (haven't tried it yet, already play one MMO).

Worst cast in the series, a cast of bland, annoying characters. Squall being the worst, may be the worst protagonist in a  RPG.

Awful writing.

Worst story in the series, the story didn't even have a common theme and turned out to be one dimensional, they tried to make it convoluted to add depth. I daren't speak of some of the plot resolutions in this game or of some of the stupid plot twists.

Terrible romance tacked on, and a very immature resolve to the romance near the end. (I had to stop myself from falling asleep trying to play the game till the end)

Broken systems (you could break the game very very easily)

The end credits were the best part of FF8 as the game was finally over and the technique used to make the end credits was actually very good too.

I won't be getting this, FFXIII was so horrible I couldn't even finish it. If they fix the gameplay and the levelling restrictions, and work on their actual storytelling then this might actually be good  playable. I have no faith in Squeenix anymore which is a shame since they actually localise their games.

If only I had the ability to photoshop his face on Kirino's body. It'd be perfect.

Im excited i liked ff13 not all rpgs have to implement towns(wouldnt have made much sense anyway, though im glad ff13-2 is adding them. Also just because you didnt like it doesnt mean a large majority didnt enjoy it. I have plenty of friends who loved ff13...........giggity.

Plenty of my friends enjoyed FF13 too, if I didn't go on online forums I wouldn't really know the game also had some people that hate it a lot (though some of them have justified reasons for disliking the title).
