Forums - Gaming - Ten simple rules Nintendo has to follow to win back the hardcore gamer

Great, great thread. Would be even funnier if this was a parody of some sorts, not something that some industry people actually want. But hey, better laugh than cry about it, no? Still funny thread.

If you do submit this to Kotaku, I want a llink to the resulting Kotaku article - assuming anyone ends up seeing it!

Is Nintendo willing to part with a lot of money to do that though...

You are right, Mr. Stoppable.

You are oh so right.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Nintendo will be so hardcore, they will be forced out of the industry

best rol thread in quite a while!

Ahaha! Nice thread!

I especially liked these points:

3. No stupid controller - Now this really shouldn't be hard for Nintendo. Everyone knows what the hardcore gamer wants: The same controller they've played with for almost 15 years.

4. Stop selling hardware at a profit - It's seen as a dishonorable practice. It shows that a company doesn't care for their customers.

5. No more casual games - Nobody wants to play this crap. Make real games for real gamers only.

------

Self-proclaimed hardcore like to say 'casuals' hold back gaming yet they want to keep playing on DA generation after generation even though is a over a decade old. They're addicted to those two sticks.

They want Nintendo to stop selling at a profit while ignoraing the fact that Nintendo is a gaming-only company unlike Sony and MS.

I hate that term, 'real games.' The hardcore love to think gaming is their secret club and everything should be for them and only them.

"Stop selling hardware at a profit - It's seen as a dishonorable practice. It shows that a company doesn't care for their customers."

"Add something like achievements to your games - Without them, people will continue to pick Harry Potter games over Super Mario Galaxy 2."

"Do not harm the console sales of Sony and Microsoft - It's mean. Please, don't do it."

Haha, very nice.

The OP is indeed a sly piece of work and I'd be careful how you reply or you would indeed have been punked.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
