This "story" isn't even a story.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/01/28/fbi_crackdown_on_anonymous/

It was 40 "search warrants" and it was back in January, related to DDoS stuff and Wikileaks. (Visa/Mastercard)

This "story" has nothing to do with Sony.

So this already happened in Jan, and Anon apparently still had the balls to take down the PSN after this? (asuming you believe they took out the PSN)

Shit just got re-!

Oh.

I didn't know about this back then and it seems that the story has been resurfacing as a recent event. I suppose people are just dying to stir things up anyway possible. Nothing to see here after all! lol

Come on guys... this is the second time this video have been on vgc. -____-

You guys are really disappointing

Can't really blame them. Sony has said practically nothing, which only invites this kind of wild speculation.

Sony looks like they are using this opportunity to try to lock the network down, so hackers can't get in, and use the prolonged delay as a chance to get the user community to turn against Anonymous.  This way, if anything DOES happen, Sony has an angry mob ready to turn on something they consider a thorn on their side.  They end up winning the PR battle in doing this.  Now, anytime Sony DOES mess up from this point on, people will go, "There goes Anonymous again".  Based on the postings here, there is a general agreement that Anonymous is to blame for EVERYTHING wrong going on with the PSN.

As of now, this is a second round of user disinformation done for the benefit of Sony on here.  People may want to do some due dilligence before posting stuff like this on here.

Good luck with that.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

It's sad, but people are going to believe what they want to believe. Sony can't miss, and anon is the root of all evil.

Why don't they start attacking the FBI too, since they're messing with their buddies?  Bunch of hypocrites. It's time to pay losers.

Anonymous hacked there own connection. lossers
