Official Nintendo Magazine, a close publication to NIntendo, projects the next The Legend of Zelda game for October 2011. The last rumors for a Zelda game (Ocarina of Time 3D) claims a June release, that in the end was real. Could this be real too?

October's fine with me, and sounds like a good stragetic move.

October for all of the dedicated Zelda fans to pick up a copy.

Once the hype is down, Christmas rush begins.

So sales will be relatively steady for a couple months.

One problem: I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER!!!! :(

Play Ocarina of Time 3D until October!

October is 6 months away, it'll go by fast.

ONM never seem to get any of their projections right, to be honest. Great magazine though.

November is the crowded month so October would be good.

So, if rumours are to be believed, Xenoblade Chronicles in September, Zelda in October, then what do we get in November and December? 

Last Story and Rhythm Heaven, perhaps? Not necessarily in that order... 

Edit: I'd assume Nintendo would have Zelda release in November--even if November is a big month, Zelda is big enough to hold its own. Perhaps leave October clear for a lesser known franchise to launch and build up some steam. We'll see.

ONM just makes their predictions with no inside knowledge, just a bit of logic and history of the franchise/publisher/genre.  I remember when they predicted Tales of Graces would come out in September 2010 or when they thought that Fatal Frame IV would hit Europe in February 2009.  

October isn't an unreasonable date though

I wouldn't trust ONM. They reckon TLS will be here in November, and that Other M would have been released 7 months after it actually was...

they probably know nothing, i really hope this isnt true, it'd make my decision of which 2 consoles to bring back with me to college next year far too difficult.
