I honestly believe Counter-Strike 2 will be released before HL3/Ep3!

This is a very unreasonable request/prediction but i think Valve will announce Half-Life 3 and Counter-Strike 2 while also announcing that they are working on porting a proper orange box and l4ds and counter strike source to the ps3 and may be sold under a mini steam store in psn. That will be the day i never use my pc for gaming ever again.

i hope left 4 dead 3 is gonna be on the ps3 :D

I was actually just thinking about this. I think they will do it. And neither game was published by Microsoft, so I don't see why they wouldn't. I think L4D3 is def coming, and will release on ps3; so I think Valve will release L4D 1 and 2 for ps3 1-2 months before the release of L4D3. I'd say they come on one bluray for $59.99

counter strike 2 = counter strike source which is the sequal to counter strike 1.6

But an update to counter strike awesome formular is needed. but that will happen when source engine 2 is unleashed on the gaming world. 

I was kind of hoping/thinking it could be something very similar to this. 

The surprise would be Portal 3 and no mention whatsoever of Half-life 3 or Episode 3.

I still think a new Counter-Strike will be called Counter-Strike 2 but I know where your coming from.

I thought Valve made the Source Engine extremely flexible so they could continuely update it therefore eliminating the need to make a new engine?

Every engine can be updated, shit call of duty has been using the same engine since the second game. That flexibility you're talking about just really helps people make their own mods and such, Mods like Garrys Mod aren't possible to make on any other engine or people just aren't dedicated enough.

If Valve are going to deliver the biggest surprise of E3 then either:

a) The other E3 surprises will be as surprising as Nintendo announcing their HD console or

b) Valve will annonce a PS3 or Wii2 fully exclusive game

Anything else from Valve might be cool and a bit surprising, but not the biggest surprise.
