I have been playing pokemon for the past 3 days and its still on green! WTF?! Strange that nintendo went with a lower battery life for the 3ds, but has it effected you at all?

Well I'm not buying it til revision because of that, and hopefully the 3D will be improved (It's still awesome, but I'm hoping).....
But, maybe I lied and might get it if the new mario is not like Mario Galaxy, as in it's more like Mario 64, or Sunshine.
But I think it will affect some... because the 3DS has the battery life of a PSP... and it annoys me because on long flights or travel days the PSP always runs out of battery, so I always take the DS Lite

I honestly dont wsee why people unnessarily rant about some of the most easy problems to fix....you can buy a PSP Extended Battery pack for $25 that extends psp battery life to 11 hours, and the 3DS is getting POWER PAK that also doubles playtime and adds a grip
Edit: Power Pak is by Nyko and is only $20.....

Fair enough
I don't really see how it would extend it to 11 I mean if your playing from the memory stick... maybe
when the original battery is 1200maH and the sony upgrade one is 2200maH that's not twice as much... and I get 3hrs with Wipeout on it... >_>

It doesnt rly give u 11 hours, but thats what it says when i turn on my psp (i suppose using minimal use of PSP), in the Cross Media Bar, with extended battery and it shows me around 11 hrs. compared to my around 6 hrs., depending on the game and brightness, sound level, etc. things vary, i guess it would be safe to just say it roughly doubles whatever playtime ur getting on ur PSP

Fair enough, you win... I'm excited to spend 25$ extra when I could play the DS instead. Plus you completely ignored the other part of my post where I combined issues as a reason to wait, because nintendo's revisions are usually improved.

Please dont view my post as an attack or a rebuttal, i myself am waiting for the 3DSi for similar reasons, i was just venting out frustation over how people seem to have complained the most over what will be the 3DSi's most easily fixable problem.

Well that would take a third party peripheral, and those don't have the best reputation.
Plus the problem being around in the first place flies in the face of Nintendo's handheld battery life reputation. You didn't need an extended battery with the Gameboys and DS'es.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

What you suggest requires work, i.e. precious time spent on not playing video games. That's why people go on the internet to complain on message boards. |
Doesn't complaining on message boards also take away from playing video games?
If they were smart, they would use their "complain time" instead of their "video game time" to fix the problem.
ya the Lite and the DSi just push the battery to its limits

Makes perfect sense to me.
The BuShA owns all!
