They add nothing but a mess to the discussion.

We actually have less of these people now. I actually miss some of them. At least they made things fun. Now, everyone's so defensive about everything. 

We had reall trolls in this site that were very distructive, now a days , it's mostly people being banned for calling someone a ( fanboy). 

That's what I mean, back in the day the regulars sort of set the example, sure you had obsessive fans like Soriku and leo, but it was all in good humour, and most of the posts/posters today would have been outcast. Today it's flip reverse ....

I do think the way this site is modded needs a major overhaul ... gah machina won't like me saying that

If i managed to spread the project coffee rumour and see it on ever major gaming site and technology site, i wouldn't stop smiling everytime i went on the web and gloat about it for years.

Too many great members have left. Few are stepping up as new generation. And I agree, the site needs major changes.

Dude, we're getting into confidential information right now that I have very little liberty to discuss. I fanboy up on n4g and Sony gives me a cut of the dough, that's the deal. I'm curious though to see psrock's rates because knowing some of the shit he pulls I'd say he lives a far more comfortable life than I (if you know what I'm sayin').

I mean who the fuck would stand behind Sony if they weren't getting payed to do so? Only a fool.

Sony's revenue for an entire year wouldn't be enough to pay all of the Sony fanboys on N4G.

Sort of OT: Nobody pays charity volunteers either. Money isn't the only thing which can motivate people to take certain actions.

Aren't there better things to do charity work for, besides benefitting a for-profit corporation?

Don't take this the wrong way,but I personally did'nt find your post all that clever. I personally don't consider my self a fanboy,but I do play my ps3 way more than my wii and xbox360. I don't think being a fanboy is about being paid,not everything is about money. Maybe the so-called  fanboys,just get that much enjoyment out of there console of choice and want to share there enjoyment. What's wrong with brand-loyality and enjoying something. Maybe they worship a corporation because it's fun for them. I'm just playing devil's advocate,so please don't take my post personally.

nice thread but there are a couple things i would like to point out

theres no such thing as a fanboy i have never seen or witnessed one

i dont see alot of people spreading false info on here or else where those that do are unaware of it so its not like there doing it on purpose

as for the rest i believe most of the posters here are simply just bored and thats why they post a certain way or go out of there way to post pro console news, blame sites like n4g kataku, dartdevidemon ect.. before that 06-07 on this site it was mostly user created threads and more interesting slaes related funner topics

 

those that dont like these types of posters there nothing you or some guy named machina is going to do anything about it adding new mods/ gettin rid of others is not going to change a thing

changing the mod rules making them more strict will most likely drive down forum and site activity even more
