I only 1 month the wii has sold 98k consoles in the country down under. Might seem like small fish to the bigger selling countries but its a huge increase in sales.

23rd of nov nintendo announced that the wii had sold 200k wiis in australia. it was the quickest console or handheld to do so. Since then it has sold 98k more. All in 1 month. Healthy numbers by all accounts. So it has sold 50% or close enough compared to the first year on sale. Its building more and more momentum.

Ya, you should have been banned on the spot for starting that thread. You're not contributing anything worthwhile to the site or the community. You started that thread knowing full well what would happen. That's very low brow....

That thread while it did have an eyebrow raising title and opening post turned out to be quite a laugh because most people didn't take it seriously and just wanted to have a bit of fun.
