U2 MP for me might even be best MP for me period the ability to climb and the balance is not seen in many other MP

for SP its gears though i only liked U1s SP U2 didnt feel like you were playing the game it felt like it was playing it self and the gunplay from U1 was almost non existence

i also like gears' more realistic type of graphics compared to uncharteds art design and gears' more mature themed story also fits my tastes as well

i see it the same for there third outing aswell gears for SP and Uncharted for MP although i hope U3s SP has more gunplay gameplay than 2 Uncharted 1 and gears does a better job of this for me

another game that could potentially be an above average  TPS this gen is spec ops the line

1) Uncharted 2

2) Mass Effect 2

3) Gears of war 2

4) Red Dead Redemption

5) Vanquish

Either Uncharted 2 or Red Dead: Redemption. 

i love gears of war epic gameplay one of my favorite  games the controls are just right the pacing is good the movement is sick the things you can do in the game the cover system can't be beat yet i also like uc2 but not as much as gears. play both games they you guys will understand.

:S ...go buy Vanquish and play it... it's an epic game.. it's a fresh, over the top, fast paced third person shooter.. unique in it's kind.

The Gears of War series.  I enjoyed both Uncharted and Uncharted 2, but if forced to have only played the exploits of Nathan Drake or Delta Squad, I'd choose Delta hands down.

The Gears 2 campaigns (solo and co-op) have been incredibly fun and the multiplayer is both visceral and addictive.  I have spent countless hours in the Gears universe and this series really has defined this generation for me, in many ways.

If the Gears 3 Beta is any indication, my addiction to this series will only grow stronger...

Reading this thread has impressed me.  A lot of the time, people tend to vote for "game A" over "game B" simply because they own a particular console.  The choices in this thread have varied more than most (anywhere from Dead Space to Starfox!) and people seem to support their choices with solid reasons.  This is the kind of thread I like to see on VGChartz.

Vanquish was very addictive but i'd have to give it GEARS multi player and UC single and multi player
