Gears of War series by far. (Gears 2 > Gears 1 >>>> other TPS)

Uncharted and Gears are having a huge battle right noe. BTW UC is a third person shooter! Surprising everyone ignored Red Dead and GTA 4.

Gears of War, the original. It didn't pretend to have a story or any of that nonsense. It had great character design, the game felt heavy, and all it did was point you at the Locust and say "those guys are ugly and bad. kill them."

I appreciate that.

Uncharted 2 is really great as well but the combat and controls aren't on par with Gears. Plus, it's more of an action/adventure with less emphasis on just fucking up your opponent with a chainsaw or gun in the third person.

To many good ones to name one. I would say thats a good thing.

Gears original for coop.

Uncharted 2 for story and fun.

Dead Space one and two because it will scare the fuck out of anyone at times and is hard.

Uncharted has really good cover system as well.

i was refering to him saying Gears of War invented that type of cover system, and that games like uncharted copy it.

when Kill.Switch had it a decade ago, and im sure games before that had it too

People who choose Gears and Uncharted as thier first pick please do the following:

Say why you like it: For example Gears has better multiplayer because.......... Or Uncharted has better single because......

Special feautres: For example, Uncharted has better graphics, Gears has a better cover system.

And please don't say I like Uncharted better because I only have a PS3 or say that I like Gears better because I only have a Xbox. And if you pick Gears or Uncharted and haven't played Uncharted but you say Gears is your favourite TPS. Please say you haven't played Uncharted or vice versa.
