Forums - PC Discussion - Fable III to launch on Steam and GFWL

It would also be nice if they let people outside their 35 supported countries play online but they are pretty slow adding new countries...

Thos I guess by releasing it on steam I will noe have the opertunity to buy a digital copy as the GFW online store doesn't accept my debet card as it's not from one of the supported countries aparently even tho they say NZ is supported...

So you can purchase GFWL games in your country but you can't use your debit card? Seems odd.

You can also shop on GFWL using MS points. But I don't think many people go that route.

I didn't see the point in getting a points card when the game I wanted was only a couple hundred points, seemed like a waste...

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Good to see Microsoft bowing to the inevitable, hopefully they'll get some of their back catalogue on Steam, and/ or GOG as well.

I have to say though, this is a months-late port of a game which didn't exactly get stellar reviews, has both SecuROM and GfWL and releases almost at the same time as The Witcher 2. It's almost like it's been sent out to die.
