You've gotta remember about price cuts, SW and also new advertising coming out.

After OoT I don't think we'll see a week lower than what we're at now for quite some time...

You're expecting a price cut in the next couple months?  Because it is going to be pretty close to 200k this week.

Last week: 248,700

EMEAA down 15,890

Japan down 4,658

If America is down by over 20% this week, it will be under 200k WW.

for WW 30k is too low, maybe he meant 20k?

Yep. No lower than 20k in Japan, no lower than 200k WW >.<

no lower than 20k in japan sounds reasonable enought to me but it is already pretty close to 200k WW, i think it is going to fall below that this summer.

the 3DS is getting a price cut already?  i don't believe that for even a second.  i doubt OoT will do anything major being a re-rerelease.   3DS will be below 200k WW before E3 even arrives the way it's going now which is when any new games would be announced anyways.

I know, I was surprised as well. But, you must remember, it was the whole 'choose your own price' thingy. Since it didn't work at that price, they'll try a new one. Who knows what the wholesale price is, but if it's say £90 they can keep cutting down with no reprocussions.

i wouldn't say no reprocussions.  customer preception is important to sucess.  a price cut this early on smells of ... i'm at a loss for the word i want.  not failure ... something closer to weakness i guess.  if people percieve the 3DS as stuggling that will work against it.  no one wants to buy an 8-track player if you know what i mean.

At this point, the only way of Wii being again above 10k is the launch week of Skyward Sword, or the price cut one.

Zelda will help the Wii for a short period but it will drop fast afterwards.

Dragon Quest X could potentially revive the Wii.

That's what I said: launch week of Skyward Sword, only the first week.

Yeah I know I just wanted to add that Zelda isn't the one to watch. Zelda won't be as big as DQX but it will help the Wii more than you think. Not only for a week.

If Nintendo shows Project Cafe (Nintendo Stream) this year and is BC like the rumors says, DQX may help this and not Wii. Similar case with Zelda.

Something like TP could happen, with the Wii version outselling the Gamecube one.
