Mass Effect 2 may come to the PS3, though if it does it will probably mean that EA robbed Bioware of their independence completely and it will probably also indicate that they have restricted things like budgets and development times, resulting in a lesser experience for the user. It is for this reason that I hope Microsoft pays a sum of money to make the game 360/PC exclusive, and keep the onus on EA to stay out of Bioware's development.

Mass Effect the first will NEVER come to the PS3, as Microsoft published the game, and simply will not agree to it unless offered something VERY substantial in return by EA. As timed-exclusive ports to not seem to do well on the second console this generation (excepting Oblivion), I cannot see why this would be in EA's interest.

i don't think EA will make Bioware make a PS3 version, because before they were bought, Bioware absolutely swore many times that it was 360-exclusive, at least console-wise. They would lose a good chunk of their legendary status if they went back on their word.

If MS and Bioware had an exclusivity deal before EA purchased Bioware, EA has to honor that deal.

^^ I understand the reference, but if this potential PS3 ME did happen, it would likely be handled by Bioware themselves, and we have yet to see how they handle a port/multiplat.

But it doesn't matter, because it won't happen.
