Most gamers make there transition from console followig the the same brand through every gen, but i personaly have found that hard to do with the 8th gen creeping ever so closely!

i mean what drives your purchase, and more importantly whats important to you?

innovation in games, reliable hardware, and i would guss a more innovative control scheme would help, but how do you follow the same brand blindly before nowing what your getting into?

blindly following Sony and Nintendo into the next gen without knowing wht to expect isn't something I can do without knowing the hand of my once formidable competition.

Sony, I've loved them since the PS2, and the PS3 is no exception, the PSP isn't quite on their same level, but I can't wait to get my hands on a NGP, they look awesome and I can't wait to play Playstation franchises on it :D

Finally gonna blow the gamecube away graphically once and for all

i will get both sony's and nintendo's  consoles 

Doubt I'll get any new console.   Someone would really have to 'wow' me with an all new experience like Wii did back in 2006  (and then never lived up to it's potential o_O).   Otherwise I have enough games to last me a long, long time.
