Hopefully evolution's next game will be more akin to PGR than Motorstorm. As much as I like the series, it doesn't really feel like much of a racer any more

Activision doesn't have any control over Bungie, so relax. Activision can only publish Bungie's titles for the next 10 years. They have no other rights and Bungie can choose to sit idle for the next 10 years if they wish and Acti can still do nothing about it.
It'll be interesting to see their next title
that kinder damages the rumour about MS starting an new studio for the Bizzard creation people to work on an new project gothem racing game.

I like your terminology. They weren't "freed" by Microsoft. They were never a part of Microsoft. They did work with Microsoft, but they turned to Activision after Microsoft botched the release of PGR4.
Microsoft's mishandling of their relationship with Bizzare has a large part to play here. They should've been bought rather than abandoned.

well it just one guy that got hired even without him , ms could make a studio with like say 30 or 40 bizzare developers if they wanted to wish they would i want microsoft to make pgr5 already

They never had a game bomb under M$.
But did under Acti. Hardly any advertising etc. Blur was awesome. It just never had a fair shot.
I hate activision.

its a game that not for everyone because of game type, i believe if they used that engine in a pgr style street racer it could do very well
