Nope, plus the fact that it has a big and cheap backlog is pretty sweet. There might be a pricecut coming in the fall though, so depending on how you feel, it could be that it was worth it to wait for that.

Heck no...it isnt too late. In fact it is a perfect time to buy a PS3. Sooo many great games to choose from and sooo many new great games coming out.

I think you have at least 2 years before the PS4 or XBOX720 comes out....and unless you are an early adopter, then more like 3 years before you buy the next generation. That is 2-3 years of great gaming.

Plus if you dont already have a blu-ray player...you will get one with the PS3.

The PS3 was almost lifted from the market due to LG but that has been sorted now I think.

The only thing you might want to wait for would be a price cut later this year, but for now there are some discounts at amazon and game on the console of around £50

Not too late at all. Wii2 probably won't come until late 2012 anyway and that's if you buy it as soon as it realeases. I say wait till e3 for a possible pricecut and then you may be able to get a cheap ps3 plus cheap "old" games. You can even use it even if you get a wii2, because it seems their power won't be that different. And ps4 is probably not coming till 2013 at least.
