God of War 2 is the best. God of War 3 was easily the worst. Terrible story, boring locations and too much backtracking.

You should check out my post on the previous page. i agree with your point. i think that the director Stigg is shit and hes no where near the league of David Jaffe who made the first game phenominal.

Just read it, i agree. I was looking forward to the big battle between the Gods and the Titans. To be honest i never liked God of War as much as most but the second was good and the ending really got me pumped for the third one.

But the big battle was just in it for the first half hour then it kinda went. They went from Kratos' allies to his enemies even Gaia. It was disappointing i was hoping for more.

And yeah the setting in the game werent that special at all. Most of the game was in some sort of cave.

It was a good game but it doesnt compare to the second.

GOW3 because of its visuals and new gameplay mechanics and the awesome ending.

Mortal Kombat 2011 & Street Fighter 4 AE

Second one is the best. A whole bunch of fresh new ideas, heaps of different environments, the combat was tight, the visuals were ace, better puzzles, cooler mini bosses and an ending that left me dying for the next one.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

First one was absolutely mediocre.

Or maybe it just now looks mediocre compared to God of War 2 and every other hack'n'slash that came out afterwards.
Dante's Inferno and even Conan *shudder* are better than GoW1.

With that being said, GoW2 and GoW3 are about equally awesome.

I disagree. I mean, I only played the demo to Dante's Inferno but based on that i couldn't even bring myself to play the actual game. Ugh.

But then, I've always been interested in ancient mythology so maybe that contributed to my enjoyment of GoW, whereas a binch of Anglos on a crusade doesn't really do it for me? Maybe.

I also prefer Greek mythology, but the gamplay in GoW is just well below standard by now.
Maybe it was amazing when it came out, but for me, who played it after Conan and some others in 2010 it just feeled incredibly old even though it came out very late in the life of the Playstation 2.
The Hydra boss fight is alright, but everything that comes afterwards is neither memorable nor well designed and by gameplay standards old and boring.

ooh harsh well, it kept me hooked cos it was the first game I played that had that sort of theme. So I guess the general theme of the game influenced the way I felt, of course. To each his own
