If this is just a wiivision (lol) it wouldn't hurt the 3DS, and Skyward Sword would probably be built for that console. If this is their 8th gen console, Skyward Sowrd will end up like Twilight Princess, and not sell as well and the 3DS will take the backseat and end up like the Wii.

Cool maybe then Nintendo can have xbox360/ps3 graphics and then when the others release their console Wii will be one generation after again.

Let's see if I'll be interested in buying my first Nintendo console, ever. Maybe if they'll improve 3rd party support, if they include achievement system... etc.

Not with you on this one. Nintendo were done with the Wii in 2009.

I guess Donkey Kong Country, Kirby's Epic Yarn, XenoBlade, The Last Story, Skyward Sword, Pandora's Tower, etc...all just doesn't exist?

Nintendo also has to see if the 3DS takes off, to see if the public likes that direction, or if they have to shift direction again.
