I thought they'd come out this week, Machina is being pessimistic and saying day of release.

I really hope by friday we at least have 1 or 2 though ...

SFIV/SSFIV both scored very well, but I think the nostalgia factor helped out alot.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it scored pretty well in the 90's. It's the first proper MK to come out in years. They're finally getting rid of all the ridiculous new random characters, going back to 2D, and overall making it feel like less of a spinoff.

On top of that, it looks like there's alota replayability in the game. Unless it releases with some online or balancing issues, I think I might be expecting at least somethin in the low 90's...

This game looks phenomenal. I am shocked by its quality. it should easily be the highest rated MK.

Would be a day 1 buy if it weren't banned in Australia. :( I'm so mad about that.

IGN seem pretty positive about it ... 9.0 plus?

Adjusted for time  inflation, nothing will ever top MK2.

MK2 was the biggest and one of the best console games of the year in 1994. Back then MK was at the level of Halo, GT and COD in reviews and sales.

But I do think this will be the best MK game since...
