im all in for alan wake sequel 1st one was a top title i see no reason the second wont be

Before Alan Wake came out I hyped it up that it will be the second coming of Jesus. It looked really good on paper... Few of my buddies bought it solely cause I was saying it will be first true horror game this gen, amazing...etc. We go way back to high school and spending christmas breaks playing resident evil 1 and 2 and 3 in succession so anything good in horror genre is a must play...

But yeah, they all hated it too, even more than me...so I get a lot of slack for it lol. Anything I recommend now they come back and say "Well he did say we should buy Alan Wake...and look how that turned out."

Alan Wake had a lot of atmosphere and a couple very memorable moments, traveling to and getting into the mine, the part in the mental hospital and the farm with the stage. The radio broadcasts and tv shows also added a lot to the game.

It did have plenty lows too unfortunately, at times it felt more like a lineair corridor shooter instead of a survival horror game with groups of repetitive enemies popping out every few steps.

I hope a sequel will be more open like the first game was intented to be and will rely more on exploration and surviving instead of shooting everything that moves.

Really? All of the MS made/MS IP GBA and DS games say hi :P

Wait I thought this was an MS IP? How can it go multiplat? Unless you mean a PC version???

On Topic: I thought the game itself was pretty meh. Especially the driving segments. If a sequel were to be released it would get the Uncharted/Gears of War treatment from me.

Alan wake Is epic. I hope MS got smart and bought this company.

Remedy should've kept supporting ALAN WAKE by releasing new DLC, more episodes.

When I was playing Alan Wake, what kept me coming back was that I wanted to know what was going to happen next... its like an soap opera or a movie serie.   in my opinion, this game never felt like a game to me, it was like watching an interesting movie on my tv.

Its sad that Remedy stopped supporting Alan Wake, it was/it is, one of the best games this gen
