Rushed or not, they still have more then Nintendo...

Nintendo are in a much better position because of the exclusive games such as Mario, Zelda, Metriod, Trauma centre, Wii sports, Warioware, Red Steel, Smash bros. The list goes on and on.

I think Sony has more first party titles than MS
a lot of exclusive games for the Xbox360 are ported from a PC version
and I believe they will soon finish on the PS3 too

More games like Resistance, Warhawk, Motorstorm? Please not! I'd like to see some more R&C alike games, Jak & Daxter, Level 5 stuff, stuff from the ICO team and a whole lot of RPG games

Wait......how many first party games were announced for the ps3 in 2008? There's KZ2, LBP and what else? From Nintendo we get SSBB, Wii Fit, Wii Music, Mario Kart during the first 2-3 months of the year, just how does Sony compare to any of this? Especially since Nintendo came out in 2007 with 16 first party games where over 10 of them sold more than one million copies. Can the PS3 boast anything anything like that?

But playstation don't need xbox games, they need their own games if they ever want to catch up with xbox. They have the power to make more.

In 2008 Sony won't release many own titles because first year was very busy (Folklore, Hot Shot Golf 5, Lair, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Resistance, Warhawk etc.)... I thought it's obvious. It's not possible for every studio to develop one (big) game per year.
 
Personally I count for Insomniacs to develop Resistance on time (2008). MGS4 is big exclusive, Gran Turismo 5, White Knight Story, I will mention also Haze (I think it will fail though)...

Nothing. Some people believe Free Radical will deliver. 4 player co-op sounds nice too. I think it will bomb though.
