Forums - Sales - Zumba fitness unstoppable! UK Charts week ending 9th April

After a suprisingly high debut (on Wii) for Zumba fitness, this week it's gone one step further and is now the all-format number one. Could this REALLY be the new Just Dance?

Do we really need one?

Crysis 2 slips to 2nd, Lego Star Wars III remains 3rd, Pokemon Black beats Pokemon White for the first time, Call of Duty: Black Ops climbs from 19th to 13th

Have you noticed something?

Where's the 3DS games?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Wow Batman AA in top 40 ?

And with no DS3 games it would look like 120-150k sales this week in EMEA.

3DS surely

And I'd say more like 165k. But didn't it launch in some countries last week?

It launched in Australia on previous week and sold 30k there.

So if Australia drops like EMEA did last week that's 15k there. If other 160k drops by 25% only that will be very good legs for hardware in early adopters phase.

Other than that i think it already launched in all major countries.

Oh...

Well I still think 150-170k is most likely. It'll average at around 80k when things settle down I reckon

Hatboy can't afford 3ds games.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

who really cares pokemon sold more in its first day then zumba would ever dream to sell plus pokemon will beat black ops soon :) once mw3 comes out we should surpass it

I had to buy that Zumba piece of crap for Mothers Day. It's barely a game!

You don't have to buy if you don't want to?
