That's strange, never would have thought that.

How much % of the Wii's are used for gaming?

you mean "Gaming"

So it how many tablet owners use it to play games, but doesn not say how often or how much gaming they actually do, just that it is something they use it for. That in itself is not TOO suprising, though the fact that it is a higher percentage than even Emailing is.

It would be interesting to see usage data. Like Lostplanet said, 85% of people have probably used their Wii for gaming, but the amount of time they use it for games vs. say Netflix is probably much lower. Just because tablet users all like gaming on it, doesn't neccesarily mean it is their primary use for it.

Intresting Data. thx sillicon.

At first thought. It leads me to belive that Handheld  are not doomed by Phones at all, like many have said.

Thats awesome to hear.

there is little use for tablets other than surfing the web or playing games.

people at my univeristy dont use it to replace there books because the word processing on the ipad is terrible and slow compared to that of an computer or writting it down.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I would  think something like this could take a fair share of market from the others. Only If its thought out beffor rushing in head first withought evaluation.  There going to have to have a understanding of the industry befor taking on vets like Sony and Nintendo.

Im really happy to see this information here though cause I always felt Iphone was not the futur of handhelds.  Something like this could be .

As long as you have texting and Email. Who even talks on the phone anymore unless its to call your parents?
