been from the start. I have tried to avoid all uncharted 3 related stuff. 

Since i didn't know about uncharted 2 until i bought it and played it and saw its pure epicness, is why i am not spoiling the game for myself. 

I try to join you, but i don't know if I will be ale to resist. Uncharted is just such a tease, it's hard to resist.

I always do this for games I know I want.

A LOT of MGS4 was ruined for me thanks to Konami/Kojima's need to push out trailer after trailer showing surprise characters, boss fights, and Sunny saying, "Her name was Olga."  There wasn't much left to get excited for.  The same thing with GeoW2 (not quite as bad, though) when they decided to show the LAST LEVEL at E3.  Yeah, they were trying to show how awesome the game was but showing the collapsing buildings and the "Maybe we can ride it." line took away from the surprise of riding the Brumack.

I've done a very good job of avoiding all info on Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City, Gears of War 2, and Assassins Creed Brotherhood (still have to finish AC2).  The only reason I even came to this thread is because I thought it was about Naughty Dog saying U3 was going to be the last in the series--a good idea, think.  Uncharted should "leave while it's hot" and remain a legendary series instead of wearing out its welcome, Sonic style.

when I played Uncharted 2 for the first time, I didn't know anything about the game (got it with my PS3, all I wanted was to play Heavy Rain), and it was mindblowing!

I'm definitely hyped for Uncharted 3 having seen a lot of videos and stuff, but I can't resist it  ;__;

With you! Been trying to do it already, and now you gave me extra motivation. Been having the most difficult time doing it with inFAMOUS 2, though. I fear they're gonna show all the new powerups in the trailers I watch, then I'm not gonna be surprised whenever I get a new power while actually playing. But you motivated me to stay away from inFAMOUS 2 stuff as well. Thanks!

On topic, I now do this with every game.  Knowing lots about the game ruined my experience of Pokemon Diamond upon release as I already knew all the pokemon and most of the secrets.  Compare this with Black recently, where I only researched the version differences so I could make an informed decision on which game to get.  It was really really worth it.

I've been doing that for a long time, I did it for Uncharted 2 as well (and I'm really happy that I did!), and I don't want to go back!
