Just curious, was there ever an official statement from MS as to why these series no longer appear on PC??? seems weird to have Halo 1&2 and not the others and just the first Gears. I know the conspiracy theorists would say that MS wants you to buy there machine instead, but whats the real answer?? Is that the real answer?? Seems foolish to leave money on the table by limiting your audience. Why was Alan Wake cancelled for PC for that matter???

not sure about alan wake but gears of war and halo are xbox's biggest exclusives. Having them released on PC soon after their xbox releases would essentially ruin the already small incentives pc gamers might have at buying a xbox 360. I'm assuming halo 3 will be released on the pc in a few months to a year, and gears of war 2 will be released a few months after gears 3 comes out.

^^^^what the hell would be the point of that?? They might as well not release it. Who would buy a port of a game that is at least 3 years old???

PC's Aren't Strong enough to run Gears2 and halo3.

epic have said in the past that they didnt make the gears of war 1 for the pc themselves and they want to forcus on the 360 console alone and microsoft because they close the studio years ago that would port the halo numbers titles to the pc i believe right before halo 3 was released

Though when I checked the Halo 1 demo (yes demo) there were over a thousand people still playing it. I think Halo 1 sold well but Halo 2 didn't. That said Halo 2 PC servers are still online so u can still play it online.

I thought for sure they would do a Halo 3 port by now.

Gears of War 1 was a mess on the PC, lots of crashes, bugs, etc. I'm guessing it didn't sell well either.

Microsoft closed down Gearbox? That's surprising. I thought they were doing a lot of work on Duke Nukem
