This post is an update to my previous post here: Sunset Riders: Hope for and XBLA release!

Some news for you guys regarding the release of the Konami arcade hit Sunset Riders, the upcoming "Classics Live" brand and the destiny of Game Room. To some it up quickly, I will just be posting bullet points instead of paragraphs. Here we go!

- "Classics Live" will be an application similar to Destination Arcade.
- Destination Arcade and Game Room were test runs to see if a similar interface would work for browsing (DA) and if gamers still love retro (GR).
- Classics Live will have a similar community and and stat gathering system to Halo Waypoint, but with avatar awards like Destination Arcade.
- While it's own app, Classics Live will be a subcategory of Summer of Arcade.
- Classics Live launch titles are Sunset Riders, an HD version of Ninja Gaiden (the original arcade beat 'em up), Double Dragon HD, and Toe Jam and Earl.
- Microsoft is oddly very focused toward sticking it to Nintendo by buying up 3rd party Nintendo Entertainment System titles.
- The upcoming Mega Man Universe is to be a big flagship title released under Classics Live.
- Previously released XBLA titles that can be considered retro-styled will be slapped with the Classics Live banner. (Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, Frogger, TMNT ReShelled)
- HD Remakes of classics are a big thing, even HD remakes of some delisted titles such as Double Dragon, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
- Capcom and Sega are on board for releasing titles under the Classics Live banner.
- Atari looks to be buying Game Room. This mean no more Konami titles, continued 2600 titles, but oddly Intellivision remains and ColecoVision joins Game Room.

for one mega man universe just got canned by capcom

and  second the game room went defunct because the developer Krome studios that was working on the project for microsoft  .. got closed down.

I put this post in the same category as other predictions.  And yes, I know Megaman Universe got cancelled, so I did mention the fact above.  As far as Krome goes, they are still around, using contractors.  They did work on Full House Poker.  And Game Room's servers are still up.  So they release of new content is in doubt, but Game Room still functions.  Shoot, within the past month Game Room content was till in the top 10 in sales.

Also, note that thing on the Game Room forum I brought here, also had Ultimate Mortal Kombat showing up again.  All Midway stuff got pulled from Game Room just about, so have to wonder what the original creator of the thread was thinking.

i hope so kameo was a fantastic game and kingdoms looks badass ..... ninja gaiden 3 i wish but wont the third is being multiplatform for ps3 and 360 simitamously cuz of the new developer that makes the sigma cuz itagaki not with them no more

This is what I hope will happens.

-Gears 3 info including first reveal of new game mode

-Forza 4 will show new graphics and kinect gameplay

-First look at Codename: Kingdoms gameplay/title name/release date info

-Rare teases new Kinect title along with tradition controller title

-Lionhead will reveal new IP

-343 will show gameplay Halo: CE remake then tease us with new halo game for 2012

-MS will announce brand new exclusive IP with a 3rd party developer

-First look at summer of arcade line-up

-reveal HUGE XBL update for this fall

-Price cut for Kinect and Xbox 360

-reveal ffv13

Kinect related:

-gameplay of Kinect star wars game/release date

-rise of nightmare gameplay/release date

-Project Draco gameplay/title name/release date

-Steel Battalion gameplay/release date

-Dance central 2 announced

-Haunt gameplay

-Codename: D gameplay/title name reveal/release date
