Wow! Girl gamer elite, could you be anymore of a ninty fangirl if you tried??

If that were the case then it would be no problem for you to easily counter any one of the games I pointed out in my response. But you didn't now did you? Instead you make a lazy personal attack. Take the cheerleading somewhere else kiddo.

And considering I basically slammed everygame listed including three Nintendo franchises with only Mario left exempt, I don't know how that makes me such a Ninty fangirl.

I imagine your real problem is with me taking shots at the Final Fantasy franchise you oh so love. I'm sorry to say it but wake up and smell the death hovering around Final Fantasy, get over it and play a real RPG this generation, you'll thank yourself in the morning.

Either way Soriku you'll never see the special edition of the game state side. Square hates the west.

Who knows? Maybe the next exclusive IP would be amazing like GTA. Its pretty smart on sony's part.

I agree. I doubt that many people are gonna buy GTA4 for 360 for the sole purpose of the exclusive content (which they have to pay for), I'm betting they're gonna buy it the same reason they bought the other GTA games, they're awesome. It'll sell real well for PS3 w/o exclusive content, and the next game could be a great new IP.

To be honest, I bought and finished every GTA on the PS2. I enjoyed them, but I'm really not going crazy with anticipation for GTA4. Sure, I'm going to buy it, but the bonus content is, by no means, make or break. On the flip-side of the coin, aside from GTA, what has Rockstar REALLY done? Bully? Manhunt? And, what the hell do we know about L.A. Noir? This whole deal is getting way more attention than it deserves. Just wait. You'll see.

Wasn't L.A. Noire supposed to be a ps3 exclusive anyway? Unless they realized that it is nearly impossible to make a profit on a ps3 exclusive and used this as leverage. Either way, rockstar's ips other than gta have been disappointing (except perhaps bully) and this was a dumb move on Sony's part.

@damkira

Resistance is futile.

This is a good deal if only for the fact that they get an extra game out of it besides LA Noire. GTA 4 will sell well on the PS3 maybe even better than the 360 if you add in Sony's increasing marketshare in Others.
If they get lucky they can end up with a big new franchise possibly two, but given Rockstars track record outside of GTA i wouldn't bet on it.

Sony has another RockStar game under an exclusive contract that's NOT L.A Noire

Outside of GTA rockstar hasnt done much but I think L.A. Noire could be really good even tho it isnt developed by them. It looks like a GTA themed game but put back during the days of prohibition.

Rockstar New ip I think will recieve alot hype as we learn about it. I think the game is way to important fort hem to make medocre one.

They have the money, and the skill, they jsut need a really good idea.

Ugh, its set in the 40/50s. The cars, dress, music and the fact its LA should all give it away if it being called "LA Noir" doesn't.

Rockstars games outside of GTA haven't been terribly successful, and have reached nowhere near the mindshare as GTA. Red Dead Revolver did nothing. Manhunt has never lit up the charts and 2 did horrid. Supposedly Bully sold enough to break even, but not much else. Smugglers Run and Midnight Club did alright for themselves, but neither is major franchise. I think the Warriors did OK, but again not a major game.

But who knows. Maybe they'll reinvent the wheel with the new IP, or it could be "Rockstar presents Croquet"
