It looks like a GTA themed game but put back during the days of prohibition. Rockstar New ip I think will recieve alot hype as we learn about it. I think the game is way to important fort hem to make medocre one. They have the money, and the skill, they jsut need a really good idea. |
Ugh, its set in the 40/50s. The cars, dress, music and the fact its LA should all give it away if it being called "LA Noir" doesn't.
Rockstars games outside of GTA haven't been terribly successful, and have reached nowhere near the mindshare as GTA. Red Dead Revolver did nothing. Manhunt has never lit up the charts and 2 did horrid. Supposedly Bully sold enough to break even, but not much else. Smugglers Run and Midnight Club did alright for themselves, but neither is major franchise. I think the Warriors did OK, but again not a major game.
But who knows. Maybe they'll reinvent the wheel with the new IP, or it could be "Rockstar presents Croquet"
