the campaign was pretty good. Playing it alone wasn't all that great,  but playing it with a few friends was a blast.

The multiplayer is hands down the best on a console fps, in terms of the amount of content you get thanks to forge mode. It puts some PC fps to shame which is really sad considering the whole being on pc thing.

Average those two scores together and you get a 9.25 Although I believe multiplayer is more important for a game like halo, since the campaign was heavily hyped to be amazing I'll weigh the two scores evenly.

Multiplayer- Basically armor lock fights left and right- i played this game for one moth straight which is a diappointment considering I played halo 3 for 2 years straight.

Gameplay-yeah i know if it isnt broken why fix it?- well i honetly felt the gameplay became worse- it seemed like you were more locked up and cant have as much freedom

Theater- Whats the point of theater if you cant watch videos with friends?

IMO the worst halo yet .

Best FPS mutiplayer of the generation (not counting Newer titles)

I did not get to beat the campaign the whole way, but the multiplayer is out of this world. Its one of two games on the xbox i wish were on playstation.

Its easily the best shooter this gen and best Halo game ever made. Who ever makes Halo games from here on out has one hell of a job cut out for them.   The story is the best out of the 4 previous games, and with no Masterchief I felt more attached to the character.  Noble 6 > Masterchief all day long.   The levels and characters were brilliant and so was the ending.  Only played a small portion of the online but it was fun while I was on there and I can see how people are addicted to it.

That's because Halo 3 is a 9.4 game for me *yeah better than Reach*.

For me it's the best Halo game Bungie have ever created. I'm not really a fan of the multiplayer (I didn't really like the mp in every Halo game to be honest), but the singleplayer was great. It had many awesome moments, great music and a good story (although I have to say that I've experienced much better ones in FPSs).

I'm gonna have to go with a 9.7 on this one.

Excellent campaign, awesome multiplayer, technically its a monster in terms of what it can render and the advanced AI.

Only bads with it are I think the campaign could have been fleshed out a little more, it doesn't quite follow established Halo lore correctly and the ranking system has alot of positives with a few negatives.

Overall though Incredible Game.
