It still saying the lawyer are saying this in the process not that Sony did, there is difference... it's as Sony saying GeoHotz fleed from USA and the other party say he was in vacation. Any lawyer can say what he wants and he need to prove.

And your proof is that Sony took out other/os from Slim to cut cost not that they cut support so they could cut cost... but i already accepted the possibility that cuting support because of cost in developing firmware... but this seems odd as they keep releasing firmware, wouldn't be cheapier to just don't release more firmwares??

Umm... they keep releasing new updates in firmware... including blocking piracy, trophies, being able to play new games, unlocking more RAM. If they stopped releasing firmware the PS3 would cease gaining new functions. 

Exactly they keep releasing firmware to gain new functions and accept the costs, but just for other/os they would take the support for cost saving? does it make sense for you?

And lawyers don't lie "they show the true that convey them''... and they never stated that GH fleed they sugested that his actions could harm the suit, because they couldn't accusate without proves.

So you are accusing the lawyers of lying in your first paragraph then you say they don't in your second? O.o 

I'm not saying that Sony is is telling the truth, just there is much more evidence to support the cost thing then it being a result of piracy. Since they issued a statement in the beginning of March saying they will continue to support it even though Geohot had already hacked it... 

Of course Sony could easily be lying because they like to lie all the time... 

No i'm not accusing they from lying,  I said a lawyer can bring anything to court and try to prove the validity of what he is saying.

Because if proven wrong = lying, them in any case there would always be one lier.

EDIT: And about the links, you can say something in one situation and have to change because of situation, or it sounded as a Promise to you??? "We will never remove Other OS no matter what"?

If Sony's lawyers bring something as a defense when they know it's wrong that lying. they are the ones that brought it into court as a defense for Sony's removal of OtherOS. 

And those two links is proof enough that Sony took out support to install other os after the exploit from geohotz.

And maybe you can save cost manufacturing a console that don't need to install other os, but on the firmwares where they were allready expending with the features added and to keep support and stop after does it seems to you that it was 100% just to cut cost and 0% to security concerns?

So Sony waited 4 years until they had a excuse to take off Other Os?

The thing is it was less then a month before they did a complete 180. Geohot didn't make any progress or anything in that time period. 

If you say something then immediately back out of it, what would call it?

It's SOMEONE ELSE CLAIMING that Sony removed the feature for other reasons then security concerns.

it's not Sony saying they did.
