If you include all of the Orange Box, well... that's just one amazing friggin' game. Pretty much perfect in every way.

I have no problems with Portal scoring #1. It's a brilliant, albeit short, video game. A shining example of what video games can and should be when you strip away all the fat and furiously charge forward toward a single artistic goal.

With the Orange Box, then yes. 

But they'd already put Half Life, both of them, in the list already, in lower areas. As a stand-alone package, it's too short for my liking. 

But 3 of the best games ever in one box for around $30? There's no way that could ever be anything but awesome!

I disagree. Though i personaly would have placed half life 2 as the best, portal was as they said simply brilliant. There was not to much or to little of anything. Even the story which itself was very simple but they executed it to perfection

And in reply to your other post the reason all valve games are on there is prob because valve cant make bad games
