I think you did a good decision not to buy a psp :) I LOVE my psp!!! and I would recomend you to buy one! but, the NGP is on the way, and you can play all the games also on NGP (god of war, ff, monster hunter ( just started it^^ now past the tutorial :D )

and the games your saving your money for are looking to be GREAT! so I understand your decision :)!

well ikt depends really, most of the games will be on PSN so you can get them if you get the NGP....and you can obviously play NGP games on it too so will be a good investment. I say save the money until E3 to make a choice. You will get an idea of the games for NGP as well.

Do you know the major games that aren't on PSN, aside from Birth By Sleep?  I should know this so I can prioritize my gaming before NGP arrives lol

Good choice, I'm holding out for the NGP as well, since most PSP games I want can be had from the PS Store, not to mention playing PSP games on the NGP will give them a small graphical boost, so it really is the best platform to play them on.

I dont know, I really think you should reconsider.  I recently picked up a psp go (hear me out) and have been pleasantly surprised by how convenient this thing is.  I have ps plus, so i get the free psone classics, minis and psp discounts.  While some prices on psp games are a bit exorbitant compared to its brick and mortar counterpart, psn regularly has discounts on psp games through its various promotions.  I decided that its finally time to start digging into the rich rpg lineup of the psp, and since I recently purchased alundra and xenogears so I can take those with me anywhere I go.  While the psp3000 can download games as well, you have to buy a memory stick and I went into this psp purchase with the understanding that I wasnt going to buy any umd's, mainly because Id like to have the ability to revisit these titles when the ngp drops.  There are only a couple major games that arent on the pstore, but in all honesty there are more than enough awesome titles to keep me busy for months.  Ill also say this, PATAPON 2 is one of the most awesome games Ive ever played in my life.  SO ADDICTING!!!!

:P honestly I have never bought any of my major games off of PSN. I just really like boxarts lol. But afaik BBS is the only major title not on the PSN. Qmoney should know about this more than me since he owns a PSP Go

hmm.... your poll is really confusing. I don't know which option to pick. But I will say wait for NGP.

wait

Wait until you know which one is better: 3DS or NPG. Pay special attention to which one has the strongest 3rd party support because that would be the right choice.

NGP release date still a long way, haven't even get a final product name so how fast you expect it will release? i think most probably it will reach your region around this time next year, if you are ok to have both, you can get a PSP now if you really wanna play its games, unless you really have problem buying two device even after a year later, then i will suggest you wait for NGP next year... ^^
