Capcom?

RE4 sells a million copies, they even say it's a test to see the Wii audience, and they don't follow it up. They say SF IV would be on there if the fans wanted it, and sales of TvC didn't convince them. Then the 3DS makes them all over it, even though not a single proof of an audience is there.

They just care about the tech, not the customers, so screw them.

All third parties are guilty of this when it comes to the Wii. Despite some disgusting decisions, Capcom still has released some good games for the Wii. There isn't a single major third party publisher that has treated the Wii fairly, so boycotting one third party more than another isn't really justified.

Well, there's EA, but in order to boycott them they would have to make some good 3DS games first. That's not going to happen.

Game publishers that boycotted the Wii from launch and never looked back should be your main targuets

Well Capcom basically lied that they would continue supporting the system, even when they knew their games were selling. So unlike those other developers, they have no excuses.

The Wii sold cause it was unique

It is no longer

No, it sold because it had great games people wanted. The PS2 stopped being unique after a year, and the PS1 wasn't even unique as the Saturn came out first.

So that argument is invalid.

I don't know, are you sure?    I think the Wii sold on a dream.      Of something new and refreshing.

Why els would we have so many threads  still saying they are still waiting for the cool Sword swinging Motion

games.  The Wii in my opinion is yet complet.  I never really got, the software my imagination thought up as I was riding the Hype. And that Wii board.

I dont think we can compare the Wii to anything.   Cause the Wii was at a lost Graphic's wise. It had that obviuse Flaw.

But It introduced Motion gaming as a revolution. and we jumped on board.

If you look at facts, and you had million's to invest. you would have been a fool to invest into making a Wii game.

the Odd where, the Wii was going to get crushed.  So they din't invest in it.

Nintendo Made some good software for it Yes. And it drove Wii sell;s    Still I feel I bought the Wii for more and will never fully get what I imagined posible.

When Sony and MS adopted Motion controls It stole its mojo

"Why els would we have so many threads  still saying they are still waiting for the cool Sword swinging Motion"

This site tracks sales, but the users here, and most gaming sites, are not a proper representative example of the mainstream.

As in even if many mainstream gamers think such a game would be cool, they are not holding out to the Wii due to just that.

The Wii was not some kind of dream thing. It was Nintendo trying something different when they knew what they were doing wasn't working, and it turned out that thing was what the mainstream really wanted, not the best graphics or the most features.

Mainstream now works but 3rd Party is still not working for Nintendo.  Wii is the proof that

"they' will not support a new platform with no Visual Upgrade. It is importent to the investors.

And so the 3DS was launched.

And when Sony launches its next portable they will flock to it.

Its a trend.

Where did I deny that? My point is that third parties are being stupid, and worse, acting like they are superior to their customers.

To Rol: 3D is not a visual upgrade. o.0?

To lord: Yes and im saying 3rd party never bought into the Wii.  When they finally showed a bit of interest in 2008-2009

MS and Sony moved  to devlope its own motion controllers in 2010.

I think it was a direct result of  3rd party telling them. hey look if you want us to stay onboard. You better

do something about this.

PS360 Din't grow legs cause it wanted to.    they where forced to to keep its support.   MS-Sony said. Ok look we got lots of time left on the's consule will slap on Motion  and will make a re-launch.

The software company's said from day one it would not support Wii.    Did you expect that to change as the system's userbase grew?

I did expect them for a while until I realized what jerks they were being. But how does this change the fact that I will not support them due to this? It seems to just bolster my reasons.

They had stupid resons for either not supporting the Wii or for withdrawing their support. Thus they will not get my support.

Wow, does Sean Malstrom have that many alt accounts here or does he have his own school and a lot of these comments are from his students?

Malstrom has his points, I check his blog every 2 days, and I believe he comes from a solid, logical position. This being said, more you and less Malstrom please.
