I think 3DS will have the same problem of psp it will sell in first years very well but software will be low exept sale of mario and pokemon and it last years the hardware sale will fall like the psp and monster hunter will never be an exclusive.

Monster hunter=psp ,the game will never sell more in 3ds then in psp.

In other hand  i think this ngp will be much more succesful then psp i don't know why the magority think the ngp will do like the psp  or worst then that.

This time sony has more suport for developper then with the psp sony has annonced monster hunter et call of dutty and will appeal casual gamers with game like angry bird and little deviants.

Monster Hunter will never be as big as Pokemon worldwide and Capcom is the LAST developer to make something exclusive, Look what happened with Resident Evil 4 last gen. The ONLY real chance to expand the fanbase of Monster Hunter Portable is to make it Multiplatform. The graphics difference between NGP and 3DS is not as big this time as DS and PSP including the fact that both portables have the highest capacity in game cards ( 8GBs) as time passes.

I don't say that monster hunter is bigger then pokemon i just say monster hunter will sale much more in ngp then in 3ds.

We'll see what kind of story will tell the future, according to you if Nintendo is happy about 3DS sales it's a sucess, since they are the company who creates the 3DS. I don't think in 5 years we'll be there bashing 3DS as the first handheld failure of Nintendo, anyway I got your point...

I think 3ds will sell 100 millions and ngp 90 millions

What makes you say that? As of right now 3DS has the Nintendo faithful and hardcore ( hate using this term) gamer on board and it'll probably stay that way until Nintendo drops the price when NGP launches meaning that a lot of gamers will probably get it to experience it in 3D. Looking at the monster hunter portable sales in the west, it isn't that popular and it'll probably be the same when it's on the NGP.

On ps2 monster hunter don't do more then 500k of sale and in wii do 1.84 millions in psp it sold 4 millions only in japan. 

And Ngp is not psp we don't know if it will be succesful in america and europe it can be succesful.

3DS will be fine after a few months, worldwide it'll be great, but Japan is a tad concerning, but as others have pointed out, lack of compelling software is hurting it, NGP should be a success, but I'm doubtful it will outsell the 3DS unless Monster Hunter stays on the NGP (best case scenario for Sony is its exclusive, but that's quite doubtful) and Call of Duty portable launchs this holiday on the NGP in the west, which should mean great sales in America, Gran Turismo should mean it'll do fine in EMEAA, but unless all of those titles launch this holiday for NGP (presuming it still launchs worldwide this holiday) overall 3DS will still win, its simply too good

Well, to say it was Nintendo's best lauch ever, it wasn't at Christmas and is sold out pretty much everywhere, and how the DS has sold, despite a lackluster start, I think spelling d00m only a week after it's launch is pre-emptive
