Maybe the wait for 3DS launch kept PS360 down despite their big SW launches...
And I just realized that America will be the only one to have a full week for 3DS launch, its 1st week there will be stellar, compared to Japan and EMEAA, particularly if Ninty's logistics can restock stores fast enough, if needed.

People tend to make a whole lot of whooha about the YoY decreases but this not changing the advantage. It's just the others were so far behind the wii, now that the wii is selling about the same as the HD consoles, it looks "bad". All this YOY comparision stuff shows rather than falling off the back of the wagon ( Iwill admit it, I thought it would have fallen ), the wii is maintaining it's advantage and the others aren't making any major significant gains. And without any games being released ... how do they do that? |
They have way to many evergreens =)

Indeed Also, the fact they can stay up there is because it's well-advertised, got plenty of 'hardcore' gamers migrating over to it now, lots of great evergreen titles etc. At least, that's what I think... |

I've seen plenty of people on the net who are getting a Wii now for the likes of Goldeneye, Monster Hunter, Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Conduit 2 (OK, only 1 person for that), and soon to be Xenoblade, The Last Story, DQX etc.
I just realised that Wii is quite close to recover weekly sales leadership of home consoles in America. Added to 3DS and to DS still selling well, despite the age, it would mean Nintendo totally owning again America instead of sharing the leadership there with MS. Not bad for a d0med company with d0med products...
