My guess would actually be master chief.

Spartans know martial arts, so that's the fighting covered.

Energy Sword
Bubble Sheild/Armour Lock (like jades invincibility)
Plasma Grenade (like cyrax's bomb except it sticks)
Rocket Launcher (or another gun, like jax)
Jet Pack (aka sindel and ermacs levitate)
Active Camo (like reptiles invisability)
Evade (effectively a teleport)
Air Strike

So the scope is there for MC ... some of those more fit elites though.

Also, there is a yello, red and now blue cyborg in the game ... missing a green one

Master Chief would look awfully out of place.

Not even remotely, actually his design could be very similar to Cyrax/Sektor/cyborg  Sub Zero

I don's really think so. In the case of Kratos, he blend sin well with the whole theme of mortal kombat, but thinking of MC set in that environment does not convince me. That's my opinion anyways.

I'd agree though that an Elite, specifically the Arbiter would fit a bit more.

I'm very confident they'd do an awesome job and he'd fit in perfectly, he could literally look like Sektor/Cyrax, just green and some modifications. That said Elite would look even better.

I know but it is a spartan..and it was not a fun character to play with ;.The stage and the halo theme was cool though..
