Standard PC 800 Mhz DDR2 is about 6.4 GB/s transfer rate... I don't know from where they pulled twice as fast as DDR2 when the opposite actually happens, maybe it is a lie of sorts like saying the RSX does 1.8 TFlops.

| gumby_trucker said: This means that the original images of the 3DS that were leaked by a factory worker were reffering to the amount of memory accessable to developers, as it said 96MB on the screen (and now we know the additional 32MB is for the OS). Also, this memory is freaking fast! way faster than the cube's (or the Wii's) 1TSRAM according to the source (which in turn, was way faster than the regular RAM)... now I feel bad for my Wii... there, are you happy Nintendo!? |
I doubt it
The Wii has been perfeectly fine for me for the past 4 1/2 years, this news won't make me rage and destroy my Wii or anything
