Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition just got released, so I thought now would be a good time to ask this question.

Mine would be SFIII: Third Strike. SSFIV is awesome, too, though. I just preferred Street Fighter III's parry system to SFIV's focus attack system. (I know. What an unprecedented complaint.)

And no, the VS. games do not count.

Oh, and if you don't like Street Fighter, you are neither needed nor wanted in this thread.

Street Fighter 2 was my first love but I LOVE Super Street Fighter 4 thanks to its online.  Gotta roll with the new.

Ah, my bad. I've only played EX 3, and assumed they all fall under the category of "lousy spin-offs."

I still would've given them their own poll option, though, if we could have more than six of them.

Super Street Fighter II X on the Dreamcast.

Super II Turbo and SSF4 are fun to watch.

But Third Strike nears perfection when it comes to competitive play.

Alpha 3, they literally threw everything in AND the kitchen sink, and who could forgot that World Tour mode??? RPG/fighting hybrid??? Great. im surprised that mode is not implemented in most fighters. large character selection, isms hell you could play the game old school, with no supers or air blocks. IT was like Burger King, have it your way!!

SSF4, i lost interest in the original SF4 i dont know why, but Super just clicked for me. Might have been Juri or better online that did it for me
