Wrong capitalism has lasted longer and more people have died under a capitalist system regardless of whether it was natural death or however they died. Capitalis liberal western democracies reverted to autocratic governments during both World Wars.

So what I am a Communist and everyone can have their opinion. I would rather live under a State controlled Communist regime than live under a Corrupt American capitalist democratic system.  I oppose Capitalism and oppose democracy.

Zero percent unemployment rates acheived in both Soviet Union and China. Unemployment rates are expected to only get to between 4% and 10% under a Capitalist democratic system.

Amazingly enough, capitalist systems like the US and Japan school China in everything even with higher unemployment rates. Why? Because people follow their ambitions, rather than just position themselves on the manufacturing line.

Are you allowed to have said opinion? No. Every tyrant is destined to fall and die, as you see in the Arabic world these days. The Nazis were quite alike to China and commie Russia. VERY alike. Do you support them too? If that is the criteria you like, then you can't be opposed to them.

I am an admirer of all forms of Socialism.  National Socialism and Adolf Hitler made a huge impact an the world just like Communism. Nazis reigned for only 15 years from 1930 to 1945 and ended in the destruction of Germany.

Russia conquered Germany and it was the Russians who decided World War 2 in Europe. 20 million Russians were killed fighting against the German Allied Forces.  Americans profiteered from the war selling arms to both Germany and Britain. America only entered World War 2 when Japanese bombed Pearl harbour December 1941. Americans did not win the war in Europe as depicted in those Hollywood movies. Germany invading Russia decided Nazi German's fate.

Communism was far superior to National Socialism. Communism looked to have succeeded Capitalism during the Soviet Union's greatest period during the 1950s and 1960s. . Soviet Union were the first to send rockets into space. Soviet Union along with the US had nuclear armanents that could wipe out the world. A series of weak leaders between 1970 to 1990 lead to the slow fall of the Soviet Union. Corrupt Soviet Union leaders turned towards Capitalism.

A potential threat of a nuclear war between the US and Soviet Union between 1945 to 1990 is regarded as the Cold War. The threat of the possible outbreak of a wolrd wide nuclear war peaked during the reign of JFK and Cuban Crisis in the early 1960s. The Russians took down JFK.

1. America did indeed profit from WW2, but they only sold stuff to the allies, such as the British and Russians.

2. If America didnt give supplies to Russia, then German troops could of taken Moscow.

3. If America never encouraged the British to stop camping, and actually do a D-day type event, then Hitler would of ordered more troops to the Eastern front.

4. Communism didnt send rockets into space, captured German technology did.

5. Most stuff that the soviets used in the cold war, was rooted in German ww2 technology.

Meh, I'll praise social democracy instead. You know, the form of socialism that helps people instead of killing them.

Edit:

You know, I think it's kind of funny to see capitalists and communists (not necessarily directed to anyone here) arguing over who's the best (or worst). All I've seen in life and from history is that they both lead to the same damn shortsighted unstable system where everything crashes unless every citizen behaves like a robot and follows the system's no-room-for-errors super tight scheme.

You should be buddies.

Spot on. The Welfare system in England, the support for those who get screwed over by life are some of the aspects of communism that democracy had borrowed, and they're the good ones. In terms of other ones such as the oppressive regime, lack of free speech, lack of religion, general tyranny are the negative aspects. Communism was never achieved, as far as the Soviet Union got was Socialism, people will never get to the stage where they'll put the needs of others above theirs, it's just not in human nature to do so, there may be a few exceptions but large majority would much rather work hard and get rewarded as a consequence, rather than work hard and receive same treatment as everyone else. During such rules corruption is rife, people will steal, government will lose money and result in bankruptcy, as pretty much was proven by the Soviet Union. It just doesn't work, in theory it's perfect for everyone, in practice it's impossible.

Maybe after a nuclear holocaust, if there is one people will be more cooperative, or even take a turn for the worse and return to their previous savage nature.

I think OP is trolling.

Doubtful. On paper, there was just no way Germany could have beaten the Soviet Union in the long run. It would've been longer and bloodier on the Eastern Front without American aid, but the big numbers were with the Soviets, and as it was managed, Operation Barbarossa was pretty much unwinnable, a stupid decision through and through after the Nazi-Soviet Pact gave Germany a powerful base in Eastern Europe

Of course, an inevitable decision because the long-term Nazi plans were to exterminate the Slavs as well, or at least kill or relocate all the Slavs that lived on usable land, so they would've fought at one point or another

Anyway, i hold the theory that a period of dictatorship or otherwise extreme hardship is necessary to bring a state forward into modernity and prosperity. China and Russia were both very backwards on the whole before Communism took both. My theory also contends that it is inevitable for such regimes to fall, but only after they have advanced the development of the people to a certain point.

1. How can you be so sure? Deals under the table happen in all wars, weapons don't distinguish between their masters, Americans supplied the Taliban against Russians, look how that ended up.

2. Winter saved USSR. Germans were poorly equipped, take into account the patriotism that Russian people tend to display, and better equipped for the weather and there you have it. Supplies made a tiny fraction of a difference, if any.

3. Soviets were nearing Berlin, had Americans not encouraged the British to get involved all of Europe looked like the Eastern bloc is now, they all would have been satelite states of Soviet Russia. Sorry to say this, but American/British involvement did bugger all against the Germans but stop the spread of communism.

4. That may be right, but chances are the technology was developed by Russian scientists with German technology used as foundation, you'd be surprised at how innovative Russia is. Just in most cases the money are not there to pursue those inventions.

5. ALOT of German technology was salvaged by Americans too, Stealth bombers, Japanese aircraft submarines, to name a few, germans were busy little bastards, quite alot of technology was stolen as a result of their collapse.

Human beings under Capitalism are proven to be selfish, mean spirited and just Evil in nature. Corruption exists under Capitalism and it is encouraged. Capitalist employer rips off his workers and does not even pay them in some cases. Do not pay workers you make even more profits. Capitalism focuses on  profit motive where everyone is competing and trying to beat each other. Capitalism people are encouraged to back stab, lie and cheat to manipulate others to win. capitalism is like a game of Monopoly and real Capitalists do not care for others and only care about themselves. Power and wealth come hand in hand.

Communism relies on people working together for the good of the State and creating a harmonious society. It is just wrong to say that all communists are murderous butchers.  Humans are not good enough to ever embrace the altruistic values of Communism. Humans do not share and do not care about their own dysfunctional families let alone help complete strangers in need.

Communism in theory can work but in reality it does not work because humans are too self centred and do not work together to benefit society. Maybe in another world Communism would work but this world is driven by man's  greed, power and corruption.

Which makes this whole thread pointless, congratulations.

2. Winter helped the USSR, but so did the huge amount of supplies given/sold to them. You have to remember, Germany didn't start losing ground until 1943, two years after the inital invasion of the Soviet Union.

3. By 1944, The Soviet union was closing in on the Germans, but as 1945 approched, Hitler would of ordered his western front troops to the eastern front to defend Berlin.

4. Everything used in the coldwar, on both sides, is rooted in WW2 German technology. Rockets, Guided missiles, Synethic oil and more importantly the Main Battle Tank (Panther and Panther 2).

Well this post is so ironic that I wanted to laugh, but couldn't.

The system doesn't change the people. The people change the system.

Democratic process does not make any real change. The same old Capitalist system remains the same.

The only way to make  change is through Civil War and Violent Revolution. A revolution requires organisation, lots of people sharing the same vision, strong leadership and military force.

In my opinion if you live under a Socialist regime you are better off than a democratic Capitalist system. I would choose to live under a Socialist system than a democratic Capitalist system. Grass is always greener on the other side.
