Cant wait to see how 360 does when it's price drops for the 1st time in 3 years.

It will get a boost, but something tells me the PS3 cut will be more impactful. Nothing to do but wait and see though. And honestly, I don't think a Wii cut would do anything devastating, but who knows with the Wii. lol

So basically this is a time of the year that people buy Wii's and PS3's ... the difference is that Xbox 360 gained some terrian while the other two lost some.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.

All the systems will get a price cut this year, not just the PS3. The XBox 360 4GB will be dropped to $150. I expect those will fly off the shelves come Christmas. The 250GB 360 will drop to $250 or less I'm sure. I don't think the gap will change much, especially if Kinect stays HOT and continues to be bundleds with the system.

There were really no surprises here. PS3 and 360 are pretty much even, the PS3 only edge is Japan. Even though Wii sales are low right now, we all know what it will do with a price drop before the holidays. Neither system will catch the Wii in overall sales.

Wii still hanging in there with nothing really noticeable to keep sales driving it. It makes me wonder what the numbers would have been for Sony and MS if Kinect and Move didint happen. Do you think they'd have been dead in the water without motion control systems?
